The MCC Story

Where to start... I'm not going to bore you with the sorted details. Just blame it on Nicole Hines, Eric Schroeder, Rob Lamb and Randy Norwood. Four people that directly and indirectly moved MCC from an after thought into reality. All of the characters of this story go back years and include more than the four already named.

My name is Chris Murphy... I'm the Murphy in Murphy Consulting Company.

Over my career I truely have been lucky to work with some great and flat out crazy people. All of my experiences, from being a struggling sales manager at a Fortune 500 company, inside sales with an outstanding VAR Evolving Solutions (thank you Jamie Gmach, Rebecca Olson and John Gilmore),  and just prior to MCC joining my long time friend  Eric Schroeder at The Payroll Company -- where my official "title" of VP Sales Marketing & Administration, and unofficial ones allowed me to experience new advances in technology and use my body of work in a real world setting. Each step helped to define the MCC philosophy: 

"Use great technology and experience to enhance your businesses strongest resource, the people."

Some place in the above is how MCC came to be. We started in the Summer of '06 as a simple salesforce.com implementation house. As with any business your customers define who you are and what you do. After working on a few projects we came to realize businesses looked to MCC for the following:

  • Sales training
  • Sales management software/support
  • CRM implementation/support
  • Marketing assistance
  • Non-Profit CRM training and implementation
